Conway Vacation Packages

This hotel recently joined a new hotel group and is about to undergo a major refresh, which it definitely needs. My room looked sad -- no art on the walls, dull and dated decor, broken window shades, bathroom very clean but also dated. The restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday, so there were no amenities available when I stayed there on a Sunday. The continental breakfast was unacceptable -- very small selection of sad looking pastries that looked like they came from the supermarket and hot water for tea that was not hot at all. And the dining area was almost dark. On the positive side, the person at the front desk was extremely helpful when we checked in and accommodated our surprise request to check in early.

This property feels more like a wedding and event venue than a motel or a place to spend a relaxing day. The view is absolutely stunning, and the owner (or staff member who assisted us) was very kind and welcoming. The location is also excellent, as it is close to Champlain Centre and only about 8 minutes from the falls, making it very convenient for visitors. The place is quite old, including the furniture, but it is also very clean and well maintained. Because the building is old, there are a few drawbacks. We noticed some ants in the bathroom, and the smell of aged wood is quite strong throughout the property. If you are sensitive to odors or have allergies, this may be uncomfortable for you. I booked a one-night stay with breakfast included through Expedia. Coming from Montreal, I paid CAD $357 for a lake-view room with two beds.I found the breakfast unexpected. It consisted of cake, yogurt, and a croissant, which felt more like a snack than a proper breakfast. There were no eggs, cheese, bread, or other substantial options. Considering the price I paid, I felt that the overall value did not match my expectations. Overall, the beautiful location, amazing view, convenient access to local attractions, and friendly service were definite highlights, but the breakfast offering and the property's age related characteristics made the experience feel overpriced for what was provided.

The cooling system in the room was very loud. Kept me awake. Sheets were scratchy, not what one would expect from a luxury brand hotel. Beautiful spotlessly clean. Overall, update the rooms.

Beautiful environment, looked like we were glamping. We did not get too much info when we first checked in, such as the wifi code, but we later asked and figured it out. The TV volume was not working so we had to ask staff to figure out the issue while we went across the street to dinner. We got there too late so didn't get to enjoy the hot tub/pool. Loved the decor inside, and the breakfast was continental style. The complimentary cookies in the room were delicious.
