« We highly recommend Vince and Shirley’s guesthouse. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated, fully equipped, great bedding. We arrived and the hallway had the most gorgeous smell, our room was absolutely spotless and had a lovely homely feeling. A gorgeous giraffe lamp in the Snug! « Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help. »

« What a fabulous place to stay in lovely Bowness on Windermere. Chris and Vicky are so friendly, they were so helpful and accomodating to any requests, communication prior to check in was superb. Our room was beautiful, a gorgeous view over Lake Windermere, wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, fab hot shower, really clean and comfortable. There were lovely little touches in our room and a delightful, delicious breakfast cooked fresh each morning. We couldn't rate this place highly enough, ...
