« Overall, Pretty nice for an older hotel. It’s been beautifully renovated. Friendly staff. We didn’t try the bar or dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast selection was limited. The only disappointment was the room; hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor and the mattress topper was badly stained. »

« The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay! »
