"Eugene (on reception) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am in a wheelchair and he even offered to push me back to my room. My room 139 was very clean Except for the underside of the wall mounted shower seat, which was filthy. The food wasn’t great. My husband ordered pie and mash but received pie and chips. The pie was very dry and a bit tasteless. My cheese on toast was ok. Breakfast was ok, plenty of choice. I had booked a disabled executive room, but executive rooms are upstairs!...

"The room and dining room are very clean but people smoke on a bench outside the entrance and it’s really filthy (apart from the smoking itself)."

"The bed was very clean but uncomfortable (rock hard) However, I didn’t appreciate that the toiletries were not changed… so we had the mini body cream that had been used and had someone else’s hair in it… that was pretty disgusting. The location is excellent. It wasn’t too noisy, and there was a fan (no a/c). Overall it was fine for the price paid but I think the cleaners need to be informed… "
