Nestled in the Appalachian foothills, this historic railroad town offers peaceful hiking trails through Bilger's Rocks and Curwensville Lake. Visitors can explore the Clearfield County Historical Society museum before enjoying local brews at Dented Keg Brewing Company's riverside patio.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel, and I must highlight the exceptional host who made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself was exquisite, offering comfortable accommodations and stunning amenities. However, what stood out the most was the host's warm and attentive service. They greeted us with a genuine smile, ensured our needs were met, and shared valuable local insights, making our visit truly special. The host's personal touch and dedication to guest...

This was a fine stop for the night on a trip south. Be a great base for exploring the aeea. But do plan your meals as this is a small community with limited options.

Excellent room with comfortable and cozy beds. Amazing and variety of breakfast spread as well. Pleasant stay overall and would definitely like to return if passing through Dubois again.

A charming old home - comfortable room. There is no elevator so the second and 3rd floors are not accessible for some. Although the rooms do not have fridges, we were most welcome to store meds and perishables in the kitchen fridge.
Host Richard and his mum are most welcoming and kind.

The noise from the roadside and people next door to our room made sleep a challenge. We didn’t have hot water right away but the Property manager was fast and attentive to resolve for us. A nice spot for an over night stay. A pharmacy and Familu Dollar store walking distance so that was helpful.

A very nice hotel to stay. Very clean. Our room for four adults was quite big with lots of extra space and a very clean and nice washroom. We enjoyed our stay.
