"We stay at the Chrysalis every time we come to Bellingham and we always have a wonderful time. Great staff, lovely and quaint location walking distance to Fairhaven shopping and food. I wouldn't stay anywhere else."

"The house is absolutely amazing and peaceful with fantastic views of the sea!The kitchen is amazingly stocked with everything that you could ever want! As well as very quality kitchen things!The house was very clean and quiet!The negative is that to get to the home was a challenge. It was not marked well at all.Fortunately, we met two very kind neighbors who helped us!Where the lock box was located was poorly situated, it is not near the door, nor are there instructions to aid you to find it.We did have an issue with getting on the Wi-Fi, but it seemed that AI took over and helped us!I would definitely recommend it, but make sure you get there in the daylight!"

"Wonderful secluded house nestled in amazing flora and fauna, this was the respite from the Arizona heat we were looking for. When not hiking or exploring the island, we loved sitting on the expansive deck trying to spot all the different birds we were hearing, while keeping an eye out for ocean critters. Didn’t see any orcas but we did hear one on our first morning there. We did see plenty of bald eagles and deer! The house was well supplied for all, including toys and crib for a three year old. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the showers. Kitchen was well appointed, although as another reviewer pointed out, the pans need an upgrade. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of extra blankets. A bit of a drive from town and shopping but well worth it. Make sure to buy some farm fresh eggs from the nearby stand!"

"We loved the view, spent lots of time watching wildlife from the porch. There is an accessible beach a short walk away, which was nice. Plenty of room inside, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. "
"Beautiful home overlooking north shore on Orcas Island. It is not a far drive from Eastsound although the first 5 minutes is spent driving through a private neighborhood with a narrow road. We did see Orcas and enjoyed walking on the beach which was down a trail next to the house next door. Many deer and birds all around, and a trash panda at night. The hot tub was amazing! We had a lot of difficultly streaming due to to spotty Wifi. The house cleaners should up five minutes early--which seemed in poor taste, but a minor complaint."
