« This was the perfect place to stay for my visit to PA! The photos didn’t prepare me for how nice the apartment is. Everything I needed was there, and the location was ideal, both because it was close to downtown and my local relatives, and because the setting is gorgeous. The Porthole is a daylight basement apartment, and the house the apartment is in is right on the water, with a park in the strip of land between the front yard of the house and the Sound. I was there during some cold weather,...

« From the moment we drove up it was exciting and exactly what we were wanting.. a place in nature, quiet and beautiful after a long day playing in nature…. The lodge is eclectic, warm and welcoming… the first night there was only one other guest who stayed in their room, so we basically had the place to ourselves as we sat at the table and played games and cozied by the fire and just enjoyed the evening…. We were in the loft room with nobody next to us so again the top floor was all to ourselves...

The property has plenty of animals and wildlife to go along with well maintained and thoughtfully planned landscaping. The Loft is perfect for two people, plenty of space. "RAS concernant le personnel. En entrant, le couloir sent mauvais. Il y a de la moquette partout, comme dans beaucoup d'hôtels, c'est quelque chose que je ne comprendrais jamais par rapport à l'hygiène. Notre moquette était tachée. La chambre était peu éclairée. Le couchage plutôt confortable mais la couverture sur le lit ne nous inspirait pas confiance. Le micro-ondes n'était pas parfaitement propre. Pas de petit-déjeuner mais on peut manger en chambre (meubles peu adaptés pour cela). La clim fait énormément de bruit. Pour 2 nuits ça allait. Pas plus. "
