"This home was very comfortable for our group of five women. We are early risers and enjoyed coffee, breakfast and the view before heading out on day trips to Port Townsend, Victoria, Hurricane Ridge, the Elwha River, Lake Crescent and Cape Flattery.In the evenings, we enjoyed the hot tub and daily visits by local deer. The apple tree in the lower yard was full of ripe apples. Shipping in the strait is varied and we brought our own binoculars to identify tankers, container ships and auto carriers. The Puget Sound Pilots operate out of the city harbor and used small fast boats to meet and board the vessels directly outside the harbor jetty. The large cruise vessels were also a highlight, especially when all lit up at night."

The house is very well set up, clean and comfortable - it was a great space for our family of 4. Everyone in the family loved our stay here."
