The Royal Victorian Motel

"Excellent air conditioning, very nice spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. For the most part it was a great experience and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The only things were that there was a slow drain in the bathroom sink that was caused by a bunch of hair that was never cleaned out. There was also definitely an ant problem, mostly confined to the bathtub drain. But I don't hold it against the motel too much, as at this time of year in Port Angeles, that seemed to be a widespread thing. Also the tv was not great and had a permanent vertical line stuck on the screen. You just have to know what you're there for. If it's for the beauty of the area as we were and you're just looking for a clean (all but the drain) comfortable home base and you have your meals planned out and/or plan to just eat out (there is a fridge and microwave but no other real means to cook or prepare food), then it's a really great, reasonable place to stay. And we would gladly stay there again under the same criteria"

"Room was small but clean. Nice shower and elevator appreciated but breakfast was almost non existent. We didn’t even bother to go down for breakfast the second morning. Price seemed high for what we got."

"Very nice rooms, Very clean! Staff is excellent, the only thing is there not much room for parking :( on our second night all of the parking spot were full we had to find somewhere else to park for the night"

"Awesome house in great proximity to Olympic NP. Very clean, great set up, plenty of towels, super soft sheets and excellent location within Port Angeles. The hosts put extra thought into little touches that make you feel so welcome. My only slight discomfort was the camera on the front porch. I totally understand the camera outside of the deck near the parking area but on the porch felt a bit invasive and we moved our outdoor conversations to the park. Otherwise this place is perfect!"
PORTHOLE: Peaceful with a private, locked, covered patio to relax/ store bikes.

"The house was clean and nicely appointed. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, etc. The check in process wasn’t that smooth- the hotel front staff weren’t overly familiar with the property and it was a surprise to us that the laundry machines mentioned on the listing were across the street in the hotel."
