THE STAFF: There was a guy in the lobby who said he was neither an employee of the hotel, and not a hired security contractor of the hotel, carrying a knife in sheath in his belt, who said he was doing security. He asked me if I was checking out, as he sat in the lobby. I asked him if he worked at the hotel, and he said sort of. Got into this long conversation about how he was like a volunteer security guard, was staying in the hotel, and was a bounty hunter, all the time the real employee was no where to be found. He also had his phone pointed at me behind a coke can, like he might have been recording our conversation. I hope the hotel checks their camera system to figure out who that was and what he was doing there in the lobby. I guess there was a lady in the back. 99% sure she was sleeping. He said she was doing something in the back. After more guests came to check-out he gets up to call for her, not sure how he was getting her attention. THE ROOM: Dirty condiment container under my chair, found when I went to readjust it. THE WIFI: It was horrible, even after they force you to join the rewards program to get it for free, then try and get you to pay more to make it work better. THE PUBLIC AREA: The hotel was a former Holiday Inn Express. You can tell from the damaged sign at the entrance. And the signage all throughout the hotel. It doesn't look like anyone is doing maintenance.
