It had everything we could have possibly required, from the bathroom to a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washing machine and line if required for longer stays. The whole place was very comfortable and in a very beautiful and convenient location with places such as Castle Combe, Bath and Longleat not far away if you wish to go out for the day. "Felt like home immediately. Very cosy. The books everywhere, Shakespeare's buste...funny typical English weird dog lamp. Bathroom to die for. Bedrooms gorgeous. Did not see the ferret. And Fairford itself is a gem. Having read many books about the English Tudor times this was perfect as a place to stay and visit Highclere castle, Jeremy's farm and other lovely things and places in the beautiful surrounding countryside."

So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return."

"The Stables was exactly as described. Perfect place for our Christmas in the UK. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, the living area was also terrific. And the walk to Batheaston had a nice local pub at the bottom. Who could ask for anything more. And Bath was a picturesque one hour or so walk away along the canal. Thank you Mathew & Leigh"
