The place is not for those seeking a hotel-like experience but we enjoyed the place for its uniqueness, the many animals, and for his amazing stories and breakfast. "The village of Uayma is small and friendly with a gorgeous colonial church restored about 15 years ago. This property is directly across from the church with a magnificent view. The photos do not do justice to the detail and care that clearly went into restoring this hotel. The craftsmanship is truly a work of art. We spent Christmas here and felt we were living in a palace."
