If you’re expecting a brand-new, ultra-modern “2025-built” 5-star resort, you’re missing the point of staying within about 1,000 feet of Chichén Itzá and being immersed in nature. The entire site was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff were nothing but welcoming—friendly and they sparked conversations in a natural way without ever being obtrusive. Service felt easy and relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted. The food was right in line with what we hoped for—solid 4–5 star quality. We stayed in a lodge with a single bed, and the air conditioning was more than adequate (honestly, it was set too cold when we arrived—nice problem to have). No real need for an alarm clock if you sleep with the windows open—the natural sounds are the perfect wake-up call. We visited at the end of February and avoided crowds completely—only about 4–5 cars in the parking lot. It’s far enough from the hustle and bustle of Cancun to truly unwind. I would return without a doubt, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic stay in a unique jungle setting near Chichén Itzá."
