"It's very close to the station, convenient if you have an early morning flight from Narita, and the staff was kind. He speaks English too. I went to Sawara based on his recommendation and it was clean and useful. I don't usually like futons but the bedding was good enough."

Traveling by car, we found the spacious parking lot to be a major advantage. Our room was clean, and the public bath provided the perfect way to unwind. We received exceptional customer service from the front desk team, with a special mention to Mr. Shusei Ando, who made our check-in process smooth and efficient. As it was our family’s first time visiting Sawara, we were eager to try a local Japanese restaurant for dinner. Mr. Ando’s recommendation was the perfect choice and a wonderful way to...

Stayed two separate nights. Excellent breakfast buffet with a great selection among western and Asian palates. Second night we stayed, our room had been upgraded. IHG rewards allowed us to have a later check out time and the program is freely to join. Gym is adequate and the pool was good. There’s a soccer pitch located on site and beside it, an outdoor barbecue place, which was a nice social gathering spot. The upstairs restaurant has a decent selection of whiskies. Transportation to and from...
