"Property advertises as a resort, but there only pool was under repairs due to some leaks. What was extremely disappointing is that they did not warn us about the broken pool. This was extremely selfish, as reservation clearly had indicated we are arriving with young children."

"Amazing property! Located right on the Mekong River with a river view, the location could not be beat! It was obvious the hotel was barely booked (low season) and we asked for an upgrade, room with a river view. Ours looked out on another cottage and they said yes for an extra charge. They could have easily given us another room as they were so under booked and it would have been a nice gesture. Anyway we said no thank you as it was only one night. "I absolutely loved my stay at Fortune River View Hotel. I had a room facing the Mekong and it was beautiful. There is a walkway right out front of the hotel where you can walk, run, or ride your bike and it goes for quite a ways. I had dinner in the restaurant and not only was the food good, the portions were quite large."
