Margaret is certainly in her element, she makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. Her home and property is just amazing and bonus, what’s not to love about the very quaint Mahone Bay.

I have stayed at the Blackforest cabins four times now and every time we have a very clean positive experience. There has been great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. I wish they had deals for reoccurring customers because it is pretty expensive to stay even for one night.

Large rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Great location. Very nice hosts. Despite Expedia error allowing 3rd person, the hosts provided an extra room for teenager when we arrived at only the extra person charge, which was very appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful - not your usual eggs and bacon.
