Kitchen was great, staff were friendly, price was right! Recycling was easy to follow and lots of bins provided.
It was difficult to find however. Specific instructions in confirmation email would be helpful or directional signage. Providing the name of the building and actual address in email would be recommended.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We called in at 1:30pm and was told us the room would be ready after 3pm. When we arrived at 5pm, the staff found they forgot to prepare the room for us and we had to wait another 45 minutes. The linen and towels were very old and cheap. A/C was noise and just for one room of our apartment.

Only 20-30 minutes on the number 8 bus to the terminal which was next to the waterfront
Good value for money.Towels and bed linen a bit threadbare.
Access to to a kettle , microwave and TV.
The hill climb to the accomodation was a killer at the end of a long day sightseeing 😂

It’s a dormitory. It’s clean. And the cost is low.
This is a dorm. It’s clean and spacious. Staff are friendly. Cost is reasonable. Check in instructions aren’t super clear.
But it was also loud all night long one night with a lively party upstairs and no staff in the building to complain to about the noise overnight. And super hot another night because of a heat wave and the building doesn’t have AC.
Wouldn’t chose this place again on return to Halifax.
