"Beautiful hotel with historic and modern appeal. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I was able to book and specifically select the type of room with amenities that were most suitable for my needs during this stay. Thank you Vanessa for being so patient and accommodating during my booking and stay. The location of this hotel is perfect for sight seeing, dining and a rich DC experience. The only thing I didn’t care for was the limited parking options…they only offered valet...

"Proximity to GWU makes it an automatic for visiting parents. Hotel is beautiful, old school, the rooms are large and the bathrooms have the best showers. The Four Five Coffee shop moved in two doors down which only makes staying at the hotel better. The hotel staff are all excellent, caring, and personally engaged to ensure a comfortable stay. Skip the onsite restaurant as there are plenty of much better options within easy walking distance (North Italia, Toryumon, Tatte, Circa). "

"Easy parking, clean and well maintained. I liked the text message option for communicating with front desk. Negatives - very slow check in process. Also negative about advertising this as a 4 bedroom townhouse - it really was 2 separate 2-bedroom suites. I felt like our family was not staying together. I will not come back to stay with a family here. "
