« We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms! »

« The car park was not lite at night so I was worriedabout the secuirty of my car. The hotel is adjacent to the A40 so the traffic noise was a concern especially early morning »

« Situé derrière le petit salon de thé et sa cours la chambre était charmante. L'établissement vu de l'extérieur et de l'intérieur aussi était très agréable. Le petit déjeuné était bien copieux et excellent. Tout le personnel était adorable. »

« For a slice of history, you can’t beat the Porch House. A warren of comfy eating areas downstairs with halls leading out to the village. Clean charming rooms. Really nice staff that make you feel like the place belongs to you. And the wonderful “snug” for late night post up with a friend (or daughter in my case!) »

« Major staffing issue in kitchen and hospitality - we waited 40 mins for a sharer and starter on Saturday night, then it all came together. Another table of 6 waited 1 hr 40 mins for one salad to arrive! Salmon dish was tiny and overcooked. Sent it back. The waiter Omar was brilliant at service recovery and very apologetic - hats off to him. Breakfast was pretty poor too - only one coffee machine for hundreds of guests, food took ages to be replenished and tables not cleared. Staff on reception...

« Hôtel dans un ancien manoir avec bcp de charme. Tout à été récemment rénové avec bcp de goût. Chambres standard de taille correcte. Belle salle d’eau. Certaines chambres donnent sur le système d’air conditionné et sont très bruyantes! Demander à changer si c’est le cas. Petit déjeuner sur commande et de bonne qualité. Dîner très correct et plats copieux. Bon rapport qualité prix. Le spa est THE SPA. Grande piscine, vraie salle de sport bien équipée et sauna, hammam. Accès d’1h inclus dans...
