"I made this booking at the very last minute. The room was lovely and is ideal for accessing Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as the wineries in Nelson County. Bed was comfy, bathroom good, and had a microwave and fridge. There is no on site staff, which would not have been a problem except I booked very very last minute. "The arboretum behind the hotel was gorgeous, and there is a lit walking path at night to listen to all the toads in the pond. My room was spacious with really high ceilings, good blackout curtains, and a fully enclosed shower (so many hotels these days have exposed showers that get water on the floor). Staff was helpful when I needed a a complimentary item. It’s about a 10-minute Uber to the Charlottesville main street shopping/dining area. If you are visiting the UVA Law or Business schools, or if you have a loved one in Copeley Hill Apartments, you could not be any closer than this."
