« Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back! »

« Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks »

« This was the perfect escape from our busy lives. My adult daughter and granddaughter was able to come along with my mom and our other kiddos so the extra bathrooms was so nice and the flow of the home. It was easy walking distance to town. Just minutes away. The town is so cute and we would definitely go back. »

« From the curb you might think there's no way its as big as listed. The house goes deep. Plenty of room on the main floor for entertaining with almost all bedrooms upstairs. Clean, plenty of cooking utensils and sil erware. Hosts are quick to respond. Perfect for our group. »

« The Mint was very clean. The queen bed upstairs was very hard as others stated. Maybe a mattress topper needed. Sheets and towels need replacing. »

« We had an amazing stay at our cottage. Everything was clean and quiet with a fantastic view!! We were greeted by a family of Grouse when we arrived which was also so very cute. All necessities were provided for us to cook in the kitchen. Beds were also very comfy. Great memories!!! »

« Overall we were very pleased with the house and location of it. We were looking for peaceful place to stay and not to be disturbed by the neighbors. The house is located maybe 10 minutes outside of town so going to the grocery store or going to eat dinner was extremely easy. I spent most mornings sitting on the couch looking out the back door at the lake and private dock. « My family had a wonderful stay on the lake shore. It was so nice to be able to open all of the windows that faced the lake and breathe in the fresh lake air, while, relaxing on the large screened in porch. It was roomy enough and very comfortable for my family of 4. »

« The cottage was absolutely perfect. Everything you could want or need seemed to be at your fingertips! The cottage is just a very short walk to the village and public beach. The bunkhouse was perfect for our three daughters to hang out! The owners have thought of everything!!! »

« Everything was better than expected. There's plenty of room, the view is awesome and we had a good time. The only negative is that there's no closets in the bedrooms. It's still a great place and not a deal breaker, I'd stay here again for sure. »
