Overall no major concerns. Requested the renovated room which mostly clean when entering. A few noticeable places the cleaning staff did not do well mostly in the bathroom area. The water park was nice and quaint. Need more rafts for the lazy river. The food was okay at Drafts. Was alittle overpriced for the quality. The drinks were good. As far as things to do they have nice amenities just need better activities for kids throughout the day(maybe a club house would work) and more night activities for the adults. The ice cream at the parlor was good. They provide a shuttle to universal studios not Disney but the Uber wasn’t too bad price wise.

Room was clean, and breakfast was great. I stayed for 5 days at a great rate. I plan on staying there again soon (stay-cation). Oh, forgot to mention: pool was great. They even played soccer game on a large screen.

The setup of the hotel is strange, there a different section of the hotel for you to stay, but if you are not familiar with the hotel, you might ask yourself, why you ended up in the from section of the hotel, facing the road, and not the pool area. If you decide to sleep late, this is not the hotel for you, since noises are coming from all over the place, my las 2 mornings, it was 8:30 and there was already workers all over the place being loud, and the noise from the room above it is expected to be there too. The pool is small, but the lazy river and the access to the beach are the positive sides.

Overall the stay was fine. When booking, it’d be helpful if it’s made clear that most of the cottages are upwards of a mile or more away from the main resort area. This makes trips to use the pool and water park vehicle trips coupled with finding parking. Also, what set the trip off in the worst possible way was the fact that immediately after checking in, you are literally herded to a kiosk where they begin a high pressure timeshare pitch complete with “what time can we pick you up for your meeting tomorrow?” We just flew in, haven’t seen the resort yet, have starving kids, and already have to fight off this nonsense. A great way to abuse your patrons and ensure they will have a bad experience immediately upon arrival. That alone was almost enough to make someone not want to return.

Everything about this hotel was immaculate from the staff to the restaurant to the location and of course the rooms and the bathroom are well kept very update to date. I’ll give them a 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend this hotel.
