Once home to the Rains family, this one-bedroom cottage is as close to the water as you can get. Whether you’re here to relax, fish, birdwatch, or explore the town’s vibrant arts scene, this cottage will be therapy for your mind and soul while nurturing your creative spirit.

Located just across from Annie’s Café, Rain Cottage is a short walk to art galleries, artist studios, and waterfront dining. Cedar Key is a charming Old Florida fishing village, free of fast food chains, traffic lights, or commercial sprawl. Instead, you’ll find oyster-lined channels, lush salt marshes, and a welcoming artistic community. Whether you spend your days kayaking, boating, or simply enjoying the laid-back island atmosphere, you’ll quickly fall in love with the peaceful beauty of Cedar Key.  
  
This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to slow down, recharge, and embrace the rhythm of the Gulf. You won’t want to leave!

\-Parties and/or events are not allowed  
\-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke  
\-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal  
\-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit  
\-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom  
\-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance  
\-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.  
\-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.  
\-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.  
\-Please do your dishes.  
\-No illegal substances allowed on premises.  
\- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.  
\- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.  
\- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.  
\- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations.
