« Large comfortable home in the Big Creek area set in a lush tropical setting which is minutes walk to the beach. Enjoyed the serenity of the setting and was a short taxi ride to town. We saw a family of howler monkeys come close to the property daily which was a real treat.Lea was a great host and got us in contact with a reliable taxi service that used during our stay. »

« Old Bank is a community of contrasts. The Jamaican heritage was great, people generally friendly, and genuine. The downside was the massive piles of garbage strewn along the walkways and ocean. There were also warnings about safety and thieves on the beaches. Firefly restaurant is a must go for great food and service. It is more expensive, but worth it. Steve is a terrific communicator and obviously loves the people there. Basti is not comfortable for physically challenged, but if you want a...

« Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. The ACs in the bedrooms work very well and there is consistently hot water, with strong water pressure - things that are hard to find on...

« We had the absolute best time staying at this beach cabana. The bed was super cozy, the outdoor kitchen was awesome (make sure to bring all the food/beverages you need), the beach has the most beautiful clear water and loads of star fish and other fish and we were the ONLY people there and had the entire beach to ourselves, the locals were kind when passing and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating and had quick response to questions. We did a water taxi out there and had a pick up...
