« Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. « Firstly, thanks to Rebecca for her communication and quick responses. This unit on the water was perfect for our stay in Bocas Del toro. It was close to groceries as well as restaurants so we had everything we needed. My only issue was that the chef knife was very dull and had challenges cutting up our tuna we caught. Would highly recommend staying there. »

« Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. The ACs in the bedrooms work very well and there is consistently hot water, with strong water pressure - things that are hard to find on...

« We enjoyed our stay & plan to return! Home was very clean and contained all necessities. Host was very communicative, and property manager was on site in a separate home and assisted us immediately when we had any questions. The beds were super comfortable, bedrooms had wonderful air conditioning and storage. We enjoyed the open air living room and kitchen, feeling truly one with nature. »

"Hôtel avec une vue splendide. Chambre spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée. Carte du petit déjeuner diverse et savoureuse avec un bémol concernant la qualité du jus d’ananas imposé avec chaque petit déjeuner inclus avec la chambre. Toutefois, le service à table et l’accueil à la réception ne sont pas au rendez-vous. A noter, qu’il y a actuellement de gros travaux bruyants à côté de l’hôtel. En conclusion, Bambuda, qui appartient au même groupe que Palmar Beach Lodge, est un très bel hôtel mais avec un service qui n’est pas à la hauteur, tout comme son grand frère Palmar. "
