It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the cocao tea and muffins at your door before you wake, to the incredible sunsets from the dining room, it is an excellentexperience. I'm sad we had to leave. From helping arrange boat transfers and activities to sharing local tips, we always felt very well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and having easy access to the water for kayaking and paddleboarding right from the property was a huge plus. If you are looking for a peaceful, intimate, and special place to stay in Bocas del Toro, we can’t recommend Coral Bay Bungalows enough.
