The location is convenient to downtown Catskill, but the property condition is “comfortable cabin”—just what we wanted. The backyard felt remote and we had a wonderful opportunity to stargaze. Close to great trails, restaurants, or nothing at all. My only recommendation: an evergreen hedge to provide privacy for the front porch, which has lovely cabin vibes but whose proximity to the road feels better suited to small-town visiting with neighbors. Nothing wrong with that, but with privacy on-site and proximity to Catskill, it would have the best of both worlds. Would stay here again, would recommend!"
