« Cabin was clean, but beds weren’t so great. Mattresses were pretty hard. Also, a small table, or even a chair would have nice to put things on. All that was in the room was one small nightstand for only one of the two beds. Be aware that Hotels.com makes it look like you are booking an actual motel room, with an 11am checkout, however we were given a cabin, with instructions that cabin check was 10am. Didn’t think that was too cool »

It’s nice to go stay somewhere and have the staples to compliment the house. All of the little things were greatly appreciated. »

« Cottage was lovely. Could have used direction for heat….. could not get it to come on. Also suggest having some hooks available in bedrooms and bath to hang up clothing items. Other than that the stay was good. »

« I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids.
