Cascade Motel
2.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (18)
"This charming motel is cute, comfortable and clean. And perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. The owners of more than thirty years are welcoming and obviously committed to providing their guests the best. They are currently remodeling, repainting and redecorating these already sweet little cabins. With only two days to play and such a short drive from Portland this was a delightful find for a much needed respite and aura-fluffing. Thank you. We will be back. "

"This property was cute and has a lot of potential, but need some TLC and needs to be cleaned. There was a used soap bar in the shower and the floors were dirty with hair and other stuff. Our room didn’t have toilet paper or non-used soap, but luckily when we told the staff, they responded quickly. The area is very walkable, but I recommend arriving before 6pm or you will be left with food options of either a very small grocery or paying $16 for a burger. Overall, I would come back to this place...

"Great place to stay! Comfy beds, all of the staff are super punctual, polite and personable if you like to chat, but mind their own selves also if you prefer to hermit in your room. (Which is a huuuuge perk for me cause since I like lots of privacy) I have been super greatful to stay here and I feel like the staff here is deserving of a shout out and possibly an award for "most accommodating". And I mean that in a way that they treat guests like actual real people and not just wallets. There's a...

"The room was surprisingly nice, and more spacious than I expected, but freezing… the heater was turned off in 16 degree weather, so it took a couple hours to warm up. The rooms are much nicer than the hallways, stairwells, and building exterior."
