It was a great location, in the heart of the old city but in a quiet corner. Out host was wonderful, friendly, informative and helpful. Lulu and Oscar (resident dog and cat) were delightful.

L'Echappee Belle is located inside the ancient city walls. It is an incredible location. Jackie our host met us outside the ramparts, helped us park, drove us with our luggage to her home, and also delivered us to our car the morning we left. She provided us with lovely breakfasts and fun conversation. She's full of helpful hints about how to experience Carcossonne.

The location and atmosphere were amazing. Our hostess made getting our luggage to the hotel much easier than we had anticipated. WOW! I highly recommend this establishment!

Excellent location. Pleasant host who is an Australian ex-pat. While we enjoyed our stay at this place, it did not offer any French Immersion experience. We suggest contacting the host in advance for clarification about parking outside the walled city and being picked up to go into the walled city. The tourist information booth did not even know about the hotel guest parking outside of the walled area.

A beautiful b&b in the most unique medieval town. Rooms were comfortable, clean, breakfast was good but above all the two owners go out of their way to make your stay memorable!!
