We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. "Charming, elegant and quiet. Our spacious room was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best we’ve ever enjoyed. We opted for the hot lunch with is across the street at Aunt Sophie’s. Get the large cappuccino. Great location, setting and value. "

"Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...

"It's a nice property regards to location as your right in town centre and close to the river bike paths. The outdoor pool area was very relaxing with the afternoon sun. The only things I would change would be to have a few extra amenities in the room such as: Blow dryer Iron Robe and slippers It says it has floor heating but wasn't shown how to use it and the tile floors were freezing in the winter. "This is a beautiful accommodation nested in a quiet neighborhood in Swellemdam. The room is so spacious and bright with an amazing view of the mountain! Restaurants and great coffee shops are nearby. If you are planning a drive through Garden Route and surrounding areas, you should consider making a stop at Swellendam and stay in Riverbed Guesthouse!!"

"Everything was great from the start. Location excellent, in a quiet street of the main one. We have walked home every night even thought we had a hire car and I don't drink. The location was really safe and within 200 metres of the main road with all the restaurants and other attractions. The apartment was perfect. Everything you needed and more. Comunication with the owner was excellent throughout. "

Reason being, that there is no oven and the BBQ area is situated in the centre of other u it’s, so no privacy for anyone and impractical. Close enough to the seaside that you can walk, great fynbos area in front of unit. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Strong and hot water in shower. "
