Perfect set up with the view on the vineyards, professional staff, splendid breakfast within a totally relaxing atmosphere. the fact that it's located outside Stellenbosch is definitely not a negative element as it's very good accessible and definitely good located for other visits. »

« Excellent and friendly service in the hotel. Confortable and spacious rooms. Excellent location at walking distance or with the free shuttle to anywhere in frenchoek. Fountains are covering the road noise too and let you have very relaxing naps. Views on the mountains and on the frenchoek trams makes it really magical. Downside is For me the hotel is a replica of a Provençal house and for being French I have to admit that I don’t find it as charming as others. The interior design is lacking...

« Stayed here 2/19/24 through 2/21. Location and property are absolutely beautiful, but unwalkable from downtown Franschhoek, so you'll need a rental car or us their recommended taxi service via Whatsapp if you plan to drink lots of wine. Uber was not reliable in this area. The staff were very nice and the breakfast options were good, but limited. I would highly recommend this location. »

Auch das Frühstück im Pool House war lecker und alle Angestellten überaus freundlich. Tolles Team! Einen Stern Abzug müssen wir leider geben, da wir mehrfach kein Wasser in unserem Cottage hatten, z.B. auch morgens vor dem Duschen und Zähne putzen. « An incredible property outside of Cape Town. We were there only one night but it would be great for 10 friends to go for the weekend and relax. »

We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner »

« Somehow we got a Standard cottage which I think is a Hotels.com glitch but we were happy with it. Not many other people otherwise the cottages may have been a bit close together, also quite near the road (Pinotage cottage). Nice pool and spa and deck that looks out onto a dry field with zebra and springbok. Nice view onto the mountains. Well-situated. »

« Bathroom not really isolated from the room and apartment not well idolated for the noise in common places. A bit outside the plaisant restaurant zone (around 15 minutes by walk). Nevertheless, it is clean and service is good. »
