"Loved the location ( next to a river!) and also loved the experience of ‘glam ping’, staying in an RV during a rainstorm was fun and cozy! We also loved going to Aucoin bakery for breakfast… quite honestly, the best bakery I’ve ever been to! Was a great stay! Thank you so much and will definitely be back again, for longer next time! "

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at Michael’s home. The property is beautiful and the home was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked which made cooking in so much easier. Communication with the owner was very easy and they even recommended several activities for us to do while we were in the area. We had a wonderful trip to Cape Breton and this home and Michael made it all the better!"

"The wee beastie house is one of my favourite stays of all time. The views, the bedrooms with ensuites, the well stocked kitchen, the yoga mats and a great host make this a top place to stay. Highly recommend and would come back in a heart beat. If you have the opportunity book it! "

"We had the most wonderful stay at Gert and Gus’s place in Margaree Harbour! From the moment we arrived, they gave us such a lovely welcome and were incredibly helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. The location couldn’t be better -perfect for exploring Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the many gorgeous local beaches (and there are so many to choose from!). We loved using the driving range and taking our morning walk to the river for a float/dip.The place is even better than the photos - with stunning views in every direction: the valley and river on one side, the ocean on the other. Our teenagers (15 and 16) had a fantastic time, too. This place truly made us fall in love with the area, and we will definitely be back. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cape Breton!"
