The service at check-in by Jesse was efficient and helpful. He offered suggestions of local eateries. Jesse explained that the garage was next door as well as parking across the street for use for our guests as well as ourselves. We rode the Express bus #7 from the Airport for $2.60, so no need for the parking lots. The return trip on the weekend was not express cost $1.50. Uber is also available and the OBrien has nice benches and planterns filled with flowers and foliage so the wait for an Uber was enjoyable. Coffee was available as well as water and cokes for purchase. We were here during Fiesta Week and La Villita was behind the hotel, which made it very helpful to enjoy the local foodfare and music excitement. Access to the Riverwalk was only steps away. The Riverwalk is a most wonderful walking path along the river with botanical plants everywhere and river barges which we enjoyed riding and hearing the history of San Antonio including Ben Milan and the beginning of a quest for a free Texas. The Riverwalk also has restaurants, and local entertainment , and an outdoor theater. The King William neighborhood is south of the O'Brien which offered another Fiesta Festival with street vendors and Foodfare. the San Antonio River is also accessible for a pleasant stroll. All along the Riverwalk are restaurants and The Guenther Restaurant and the view of their Flour Mill is open for a great breakfast,The restaurant is located in the King William neighborhood.

I thought everything was paid for and when they wanted my credit card, I asked what was it for and the desk clerk seemed offended and told me I should have read the details.

We had to move from 2 rooms First room was damp and smelt musty and had a definite water issue Then had to move from the second room of our nine nights stay because of flooding issues in the bathroom from the above apartment The hotel charge for parking at a very exuberant rate of 60 dollars per night The restaurant was very nice and our waiter Francisco made our stay very enjoyable with his gracious personality The hotel on the whole was very nice but I don’t think I would return
