"The Virginia Highlands hospitality is evident in every employee at this property. From the moment we checked in to checking out the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their community. We were immediately pointed in the right direction for good food, beer and music. The Breakfast was on par with the Hampton Inn Brand and the Breakfast room was immaculate. Hot tub was hot and our room was quiet. My only comment and this applies to many hotels; guests should be informed on booking that there may be either on-going re-modeling, in this case the fitness room was piled with furniture and much of the parking was blocked by shipping containers, we also find many hotels have contract workers living in the hotel, which is fine, but it is different than the traveler experience. I would stay here again, just to be around such warm and welcoming staff."

"The cabin was as advertised. The entire cabin, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas. Kitchen contained all necessary utensils and cleaning products. The view from the balcony and patio is awesome. The communication from the host was extremely comprehensive and included complete directions, shopping and grocery locations, sightseeing, internet and telephone service and potential problem areas, recommended restaurants and check-in/check-out instructions. The cabin is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway so Getting to and from the cabin was extremely easy with paved roads almost all the way. Strongly recommend for a comfortable, relaxing stay in the Southwest Virginia area."

"My husband and I (and our dogs) had a wonderful stay! Such beautiful country views and it’s very peaceful and quiet. It was a much needed weekend of relaxing and enjoying time together. The place was very organized and clean. The host left many essentials needed for us to use which was very helpful. The hot tub was so relaxing and the view of the pond was amazing! We hope to stay again in the future!"
