Pet Friendly, Blue Ridge Parkway Beautiful cabin, spotlessly clean sleeps 1-5 and has a HOT TUB on the front porch, just outside the master bedroom. We are just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and our cabin is PET FRIENDLY (well-behaved dogs only!) Come stay at “It’s 5 O’Clock Here,” and enjoy the wonderful views, stocked fishing pond, fire pit with wood, free wifi/internet, the cool mountain weather, and all of the nearby activities. This cabin has all of the modern amenities. Our master bedroom features a queen-size memory foam mattress. Our loft bedroom is roomy and cozy and accessible by an interior ladder. We provide Keurig coffee maker, crockpots for easy cooking, and nice updated cookware. The cabin includes a full kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Our living room has a flat screen television and a stone fireplace (gas logs). Outside, enjoy our spacious front covered deck, fishing gear, Adirondack chairs, and pond view! There is a permanent outdoor charcoal grill right outside the door. Travel to nearby Buffalo Mountain for a breathtaking Piedmont view hike, ride gravel or mountain bikes on the New River Trail (a 57-mile rail-to-trail starting in Galax, VA). Or, just sit on the covered front porch that overlooks the well-stocked pond and listen to the quiet. The cabin is located 15 minutes away from Mt. Airy, NC (‘Mayberry’ from the Andy Griffith Show), Hillsville, VA, and 20 minutes from Galax, VA. There are numerous local restaurants, breweries, and wineries, and often live bluegrass music. Recently completed, “It’s Time to Unwine” is our second cabin. This cabin can be rented dually to accommodate larger families or groups. Contact us for details. The cabin is less than 1/10 of a mile from Wellness Pursuits, and they offer yoga and fitness classes in a rural mountain setting. While driving to the local wineries, stop by the local cherry, grape, apple and peach orchards, all within 15-30 minutes. Check out Mount Airy, NC, Andy Griffith's hometown Mayberry, and a great, thriving small town that is fun to visit! This is a family-operated vacation home from the cabin detailing to the rental bookings. We are all proud of this home and want each and every guest to enjoy their stay. We do allow dogs and the area is dog friendly. We just ask for you to look after the cabin like it is yours. We love staying in this pretty cozy cabin with a beautiful view of a lake. There are wonderful restaurants nearby and plenty of activities such as fishing, hiking or visiting nearby wineries. We loved the privacy and location. The cabin is cute but lacks in upkeep department. The washer and dryer are absolutely horrible. The washer says small loads, it won’t even wash and spin 2 towels and a wash cloth. My husband had to hold the washer down during the spin cycle it bounced all over the place. The dry took over 2 hrs to dry the same load. The bedroom door knob is hanging on by a thread. The wood walls have water stains from previous leaks. The rain shower head is loose and ready to fall off. A few burnt out bulbs but that’s no biggie. But we loved going out on the porch, eating, swinging, and sitting in the jacuzzi. Fishing was also a plus ##### Keith Y.
