Could not turn off the AC, which was very noisy. Bathtub had no grab bars and was very slippery. Received a text at 8 o’clock in the morning to ask when we were departing. No breakfast. No microwave. No view.

The shower curtain had pink and black mold and the tub drained slowly. They were rennovating, but did not create a buffer around the work and we were placwd in a room above and next to where work was being done. When we pboned the desk about it we were told it would last from 8AM to 8PM. It finally stopped at 8:40PM and began again the next morning at 7:30AM. The staff was very polite at both the desk and the restaurant. However, the restaurant must be short staffed as service was slow. Be prepared to carry your suitcases up stairs as guests are directed to stairs and no mention of an elevator is made.

Do check the reviewers. I have seen glowing reviews of properties that other reviewers stated were somewhat rundown or lacking in staff. Often the "glow" writers appear to have no previous reviews or history of travel. I have noticed that they are frequently several all on the same review date, leading me to suspect that these are actually fake travelers. Check what other reviews the traveler has written,this propert was pretty good.

I have to say, Rachelle who checked us in, was amazing ! The restaurant was VERY good, food was excellent. Down at our end of the hotel, smelled so much of marijuana, it was overwhelming. but that's not the properties fault.

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating and made the check-in and check-out very easy. The hotel is showing signs of age and wear. Needs some upgrading, for example, USB ports in room and or business center for charging devices (tablets/phones).

Staff neglected to tell us about the cleaning schedule and the additional fees associated with the stay. The bathroom door did not latch when closed and did not open all the way because it rubbed against the floor. The carpet is dirty, I had to wear slippers or clean my feet. There was construction noise going on in the middle of the week. There was a large refrigerator but no microwave. The toilet or the shower leaked. The staff was nice and accommodating when we needed toilet paper, towels, etc
