"We were given two rooms on the rear of the hotel. One up very steep stairs. Asked for bath but did not get one. Tried to exit hotel to cat park to find we were locked in. Very dangerous. Took twenty minutes to get help. Also street noise kept us awake until early hours of the morning."

"Although there seemed to be only one gent alone looking after the hotel, he was kind enough to go and search in the store cupboards for us to find us a baby bed which we were supposed to have requested in advance. Secure garage was very useful, with the door remotely operated from reception. A bit tired, and perhaps not in the best area of Calais, but didn’t seem too bad. Perfectly functional if you need a stop off before the ferry. "

"What a wonderful place!! Great stay for our last night in France. The hosts were very welcoming, the room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Superb breakfast made extra special with homemade treats. We will Most definitely return when we are next in Calais. "
