We will stay again for sure. Staff were friendly, the hotel is clean and updated. Complimentary breakfast was great and still available after 10, which was awesome as we enjoy slower mornings when we are away. Nice facilities with warm pool and hot tub. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very pleased overall.

The host/owner Al was absolutely fantastic! In 30 years of travelling I have never met a better host. 100% dedicated to make your stay fantastic. After 1 minute you will feel like you have known him for 25 years. He personally showed me my room, introduced me to his family & made sure I was instantly at home. He is also a Marine veteran - his motel is spotless, comfortable beds, etc & he works non-stop to make sure you have everything you need - restaurant recommendations, tourist attractions,...

The best area to stay in Cadyville is near the Ausable Chasm, particularly along US Route 9, for convenient access to the natural attraction and surrounding areas.
This area is the primary point of interest for visitors to Cadyville. Hotels and accommodations here are typically situated just off US Route 9, which runs directly past the Ausable Chasm entrance. The general layout is fairly spread out, with properties often having ample parking and easy road access, which is ideal if you're exploring the wider Adirondack region.
For families, staying near the Ausable Chasm is perfect. You're right on the doorstep of the main attraction, meaning less travel time with children. Many hotels in this vicinity offer family-friendly amenities such as swimming pools and larger rooms, and being close to the chasm allows for spontaneous visits or multiple trips during your stay.
Couples looking for an active getaway will also appreciate this location. The proximity to the Ausable Chasm means you can easily access hiking trails, rafting excursions, and other outdoor activities.
When is the best time to go to Cadyville?
The best time to visit Cadyville is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and ideal for outdoor activities.
During this period, the average daily temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C, creating great conditions for exploring the Adirondack Mountains or enjoying the nearby lakes. This is peak season, so booking accommodation and popular excursions well in advance is advisable to ensure availability and potentially better rates.
Autumn, particularly September and October, also offers a fantastic experience, especially for those who appreciate scenic beauty. The foliage transforms into a spectacular display of reds, oranges, and yellows. While the temperatures are cooler, typically between 10°C and 18°C, it's a wonderful time for hiking and enjoying the crisp air without the larger summer crowds.
Winter, from December to March, is ideal for travellers interested in snow sports. Cadyville is close to several ski resorts, and the landscape is often covered in snow, offering opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Be prepared for cold temperatures, often below freezing, and ensure you have appropriate winter gear.
Spring, from April to May, is generally the quietest time to visit. The snow melts, and the landscape begins to green, but some attractions might still be preparing for the summer season.
