The hotel is in need of a makeover. The rate was decent for a peak summer night. Our room was musty smelling but clean overall.

Very clean and updated hotel, and the staff were attentive to our needs.

The property was convenient to shopping, food, and of course the beach.

The Borgota/MGM is great for an overnight or 2 day get away. I would actually rate the borgota a 4.3/5 stars. It’s been open for 22 years & the hotel still looks good. It’s an added bonus that you can use MGM tower as well. Check-in had a long line but moved very fast, especially since we got there before 4pm. Stayed in a 2 queen bed room on floor 38 facing the ocean. Perfect view. Room was spacious & cleaned nicely. Comes with a fridge no microwave. The only thing I don’t like about the room is the toilet closet. I hate them because no matter where you go they smell like pisss! In our bathroom there was a yellow stain on the floor around the toilet. Pools at the MGM was decent friendly staff, but they can use some better music. Borgota indoor pool is for family’s, outdoor pool was a nice area but the water looked a little cloudy. Other than that I would definitely stay there again soon. Enjoy!!
