Great owner/manager. The appartment is well located. Very generous with amenities. The only inconvenience is the building itself. The corridor to get to the appartment is dark and the building is from an other era. But i prefer to give 5* instead of 4*

A Great Hotel, For a GREAT VALUE!!!
This place is amazing. That's all that really needs to be said, but I'll say more. Radu is a great host. He picked me up from the airport in a timely manner, and was right where he said he was going to be resulting in 0 wait time for me. As a traveler, I can't tell you how invaluable this was for me. On the way to the apartment, he gave me an insight into the culture of the city, pointing out monuments and parks that I needed to visit. When we arrived to the room, he went over the locations of all the different spots to visit and how to get to them on a map. I love walking the cities, so I just whipped out his map and went from place to place. His advice and information really helped out more than I can explain in a review. About the room, it was clean and well kept. It had fast internet, which for me is important. It was perfectly located in the city. Everything was walking distance for me, which means easy bike ride for most. Old town and city center were located extremely close, so you could see all of the night life of Bucharest at your leisure. And last, for certainly not least, was the value. This room was an amazing price compared to the hotels surrounding it, and you lose absolutely nothing in value. I'll be back to not just see Bucharest again, but to see the rest of what Romania has to offer! Thanks Radu!

This studio was excellent - good size, very clean and good location. Radu, who runs the property is The Man! A great ambassador for Bucharest, excellent communication, super helpful with lots of tourist tips and even gave us a nice history lesson on Romania. Highly recommended.

Great location, comfy & cute space, affordable!
We had a great experience here! Radu picked us up from the airport for a reasonable fee, told us all about Bucharest on the drive. When we got to the space he gave us a map of the city and pointed out the many things that we might be interested to see. The space itself was perfect. The building is not so new or special looking from the outside, but inside the room is very modern and well decorated. It was comfortable and the location is wonderful! You can’t beat it for the price! I would go again.

The apartment was really well situated, walking distance to the old town, supermarkets, main tourist sights and services like money changers. Do yourself a favour and have Radu pick you up from the airport. He pointed out all the sights on the way, helped us with our luggage and best of all provided us with a map and explained where everything was located and marked on the map and even gave advise on taxis, sights etc. Studio apartment was comfortable The kitchenette was well supplied for self catering, but there are heaps of good restaurants close by. WiFi was excellent as well. Washing machine was a bonus.

Excellent location, fully equipped apartment, easy access, clean, modern, on a quiet street even though in the middle of downtown, a caring and professional owner, one of the best stays I've ever had anywhere, and I've had A LOT. I'd stay here again in a minute. An incredibly good value as well. Normally Five Stars is my highest rating, but I'd give this one SIX STARS with ease.

Spacious apt close to city center
Large room with a nice kitchen, clean, quiet in the evening, close to city center and a short distance to old town. Check in and check out quite easy. Easy communication with Radu who was there to help check in and check out, and provided a nice introduction and best attractions, really helpful. A really nice place to stay. Yes, I highly recommend this place!

Loved the location and the host Radu was so helpful. He picked me up from the airport gave me information the whole way back to the apartment. He was also very informative he gave me a map and marked many area sights and explained what I should see were it's located and how to get there. I will be back and plan to return to same room if possible in building behind the Radisson.

Had a great trip in Bucharest while staying here. The apartment is well equipped with very useful extras which many places don't bother with (such as coffee machine with filters) I was picked up and dropped of from the airport by Radu who was very friendly and gave me a great overview of Bucharest and what to do. The local area was really nice (next to hilton etc) and extremely safe. Easily walkable to museums and lots of nearby supermarkets. Internet was reliable (I use it for work while travelling and had no problems) Wouldn't hesitate to stay again :)

From before arriving, Radu kept me well informed and showed how important it was for him that we had a very good stay. He took a great deal of time when we arrived to go through all the local sites and everything that was worth doing. The outside of the apartments was not very promising but the apartments themselves were excellent. Everything was available within the apartments and they were very clean and comfortable. The location itself might not look good be is very accessible for everywhere in the city

Ideal - and wholly recommended!!
This is a very well appointed appartment located ideally for both the Old Town and other parts of central Bucharest. The owner picked us up from the airport on arrival (and took us back there on the day of departure) for a very acceptable 38 Euros. On arrival at the appartment, he gave us detailed information on local attractions, told us good places to visit, and gave us every help we needed - first class service. Our flight home only left at 17-00, and as he only had new guests coming later that evening he also allowed us to remain in the appartment until around 15-00 when he arrived to pick us up. I really recommenfd this appartment, great location, great service and very good value!

Great apartment, great location and a great host.
The location was ideal, situated to Old Town and the Parliament Palace. Universitate Metro was only 10 minute walk away, along with the hop on hop off open top tour bus stop which is next to the stop for the airport bus. The apartment itself wasmodern , very clean and stylish,with everything that you needed including wifi and a flat screen TV with many channels. The air conditioning was fantastic, which was a blessing as it was 36 degrees for the whole weekend during the day and still very warm at night. I was met by Radu at the airport because I paid the airport transfer fee which is well worth it, even though the bus stop is conveniently close by, it can be very full as found out on the way back. Radu was really welcoming and full of useful local knowledge he even marked different points of interest on a map for me , which proved invaluable during the weekend. I would definitely stay again.

Couldn't have been better!
This was an excellent place to spend time while in Bucharest. My reception by staff was just wonderful, so professional! I was picked up from the train station and given lots of orientation of the city on the way to the apartment. I was given much information that helped me get my bearings faster and kept me from fumbling around try to figure it out on my own. I was told about bike rental and had the best day riding around in the park where the Village Museum is. The apartment was wonderful to return to, nice to hang out in. It was scrupulously clean and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The bathroom was also very clean, a must for me, and so was everything else. The building is very interesting, especially the very functional elevator! The location put me near what I needed as far as bakery, groceries, restaurants, and the metro. English was beautifully spoken. Wifi was excellent. Just great!

Stayed in Bucharest in May 2016. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Radu who runs the apartments was extremely professional and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble and there was excelent communication from the company. The apartment was well located near the Old Town and within walking distance of most of the key places to see. I will definitely use this company again!

This no-frills apartment is reasonably-priced, secure, conveniently-located, clean, comfortable and quiet, except for the church clock tower bells ringing across the street every 15 minutes, but as long as the windows are closed, it's not bothersome. Radu, who handled all business arrangements, was very kind, professional and helpful! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if/when I come back to Bucharest! Thanks!

Thanks to Hotels.com I made a very wise decision choosing Calea Victoriei Residence. It was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean, comfortable and centrally located. Radu was friendly and helpful and gave me an excellent 'orientation' to Bucharest. I hope to visit Bucharest and the Calea Victoriei Residence again when I have more time.

Great price, great location
Don't expect a modern hotel. But for a low price, you're getting a clean and comfortable place with everything you need. Cafés and shops are close by, and the old town with lots of great restaurants is only a short walk. Bucharest has a lot to offer, and is best enjoyed from the centre.

Nice, clean apartment. A bit hard to find if like me you are not so familiar with using mobile phones, but proprietor Radu is very efficient and helpful. Half the price of most budget hotels. If you like tea, ask for a kettle which i forgot to do. Nice central location.

Nice Location close to center
The location we stayed was at 23 Carol I Bld. close to old town. The owner had 2 locations & the booking was at 100 Calea Victoriei but the apartment was nice and the location was very good. All amenities including washing machine worked. If you stay more than 1 day that helped. No dishwasher but for 2 persons it's OK. Radu (manager) was more than helpful and we had him pick us up at the airport and he was waiting for us as he promised. Radu was a very responsible person and answered all our correspondence and questions. This made our visit very pleasant and secure. We highly recommend staying at this location.

This is not a fancy hotel. It's a very clean room in an apartment style building. You are provided keys for access and all the information and suggestions you could ask for. Everything was on time, and as promised or even better. The room even included fresh cut flowers. The central location was fantastic, right beside the Raddisson Hotel.

Inexpensive city-centre apartment
Small appartment opposite the Lutheran Church is an inexpensive alternative to a hotel. Clean small appartment would suit a couple. Very helpful and pleasant owner. Faces the back of the Radisson and very central with pleanty of restaurants and bars around. Busy street.

Great central accommodation in Bucharest
If you are looking for a budget accommodation in the Romanian capital, don't hesitate to book this studio flat in the very centre of Bucharest. It’s not only located near all major places of interest but also is clean and well-maintained. I went to Bucharest for four days with my partner and we booked our accommodation just a week before the trip. On the day of arrival the property manager was waiting for us despite our flight had been more than two hours delayed. He provided us with all necessary information including a map of central Bucharest, tips on travelling, eating out, museums, concerts etc. The flat was well-equipped with all basic necessities like Wi-Fi or iron. Very good value for money indeed!

For this price is almost impossible to have such a good studio type apartment, in the heart of the city, with a kind staff. Clean apartment, comfort far beyond my imagination, very good shape inside. The building is safe, but isn't looking so nice from outside, like all others apartment buildings in the city. For me was the right choice. Recommended.

One of my best experience of apartments in East Europe
There is a small company with several apartments in Eastern European condos / block of flats. Staff always in time for our 2 meetings, could not be more helpful and patient, location right in the center of the beautiful old town. Very comfortable and stylish apartment, with all described amenities, but isn't a hotel for those expecting 24h services there.
