"The room was spacious and functional, but a bit dated. The bed was comfortable but not the pillows, way too soft when using just one and two thick if you try to use two to compensate. The walls are also paper thin! You can hear everything from every other room around you, and the hallway. If you are light sleeper make sure to ask to stay as far away from other guests as possible. Breakfast hours are way too limited for a hotel that size and downtown. We were 8 mins late and they didn’t even allow us to get coffee. Staff was okay, not friendly, but not rude either. They have this virtual check out through a screen that was pretty unique. I would go back if needed a place downtown, but only for the price and location."

"The TV in our room didn't work and they could not fix it, or move us because they were full. The manager, Jeff Shepherd, was supposed to call me to discussed a credit to compensate us but I never heard from him (he wasn't available when we checked out). The continental breakfast was meager--dry cereal, bagels, coffee, juice, and a little fruit. Two signs in the elevator and the hall advertised an egg, cheese, and sausage bagel and other items they did not have. When I asked staff about it, they said they hadn't had that for 2 years. So why keep up those signs??? Ask for a room that doesn't face the street, as street noise is very loud. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to eat dinner in their restaurant. Parking in their lot can also be hard on a busy weekend night with a lot of spaces taken up by restaurant goers in addition to hotel guests. Only good thing I can say is the beds were comfortable, and the A/C worked."

"The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and kind. I asked for towels in the pool area & the lady came back with them right away. My room was super clean and looked to have been updated recently. I enjoyed the bed covers & pillows. They were all very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual waffles, eggs, & sausage. Everything was kept full & hot. The hotel is older but updated. The pool is large & goes all the way up to 8 feet. Which is hard to find. I would definitely stay for an extended visit as the kitchenette & comfort of the room would be worth it. Very affordable also."

"Breakfast was great. Lot of parking. I paid for my room through Expedia in advance of my stay. I was charge a small security deposit but for some reason the room was also charge to my Visa. "This hotel is in such a great location. I live in Odenton,MD and used a full tank of gas to get there, drive around and get back home. Everything was so close by the most I traveled was 10min to the western md scenic railroad, ( the reason for our visit). It has plenty of food around and Walmart is 5min away as well. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff was friendly and provided service quickly when needed. My boys had a great time in the pool, which was clean and towels were stocked and ready when needed. They also have a hot tub and a bathroom in the pool area which was very convient. Breakfast was great! They had a variety of foods like eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels. Muffins that were very tasty! They had sausage, bagels, yogurt, waffles, fruit and a few juices to select from. The room was a nice size for me and my 4 boys. We had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. A nice counter space for any snacks or food and a fridge and microwave of course. The shower water stayed hot thru many showers and baths in a row! Blow dryer worked great too. I would stay here again anytime I'm visiting and would recommend. Literally the only complaints I would say were the vents def needed to be cleaned and there was a piece of trash next to the couch when we arrived. LOL This place is great!"

"Breakfast was advertised as buffet. It did have 2 warm items and waffles but hardly a buffet. Very basic food items. "

"Parking is very tight but free. Dated property. A but musty but Clean room. Go somewhere else for Bar and cocktails. No quiet relax room at spa; instead, a lobby with chairs. Excellent housekeeping and one male front desk person who is top notch customer service professional. Sunday brunch wasn’t bad for the price. "
