Few of the things that I love capturing are stunning reflections, colors, landscapes and skylines. I returned to this park almost after three years and wasn't disappointed at all. Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. Very clean room, be prepared for it to be chilly on arrival as the thermostat's are set low. Housekeeping doesn't seem to check in to see if you need anything on a multiple night stay, so if you want your bed made or clean towels I'd suggest asking directly at the front desk. The breakfast was very good and the kitchen staff were wonderful and helpful. I'd stay here again just for Friday's frittata breakfast.

There are many positives about this hotel. 24/7 coffee and hot water, very comfortable bed, ample parking. But the furniture was very low! My wife has difficulty with low furniture (and toilets), and the furniture in our room -- notably the sofa -- was very low, making it difficult for her to get up and down. Otherwise, it was great!
