"Had 7 rooms booked for 2 nights and 5rooms for one night. 29 rooms total. When we arrived at around 12 noon after a 12 hour overnight drive from Georgia the receptionist told me it was impossible to check us in as they had had a busy night and there were no rooms ready. (2 cars in huge car park) When I asked if they could try to hurry up a get us in earlier he said that early check in cost $25. I said I would have paid that but no rooms were ready yet I was told if i paid this 25$ each then all 7 rooms were magically ready now. Legally, with their normal 3:00pm check in rule they were at their rights to pull this stunt but for 29 rooms and a bunch of tired guys ??? They ďidn’t score in our ‘friendly welcome’ hotel list. By the way, when I checked my receipt today after driving 200 miles from that hotel I discovered I had been charged $35 each for he rooms."
