Excellent choice for a short stay in Bruges. Close to the heart of the city with everything in walking distance. Can park at the hotel for a fee but well worth doing. Fabulous breakfast

This property had nice common areas. Rooms were a little dated. Linens were fair. Bathroom was updated for the most part although poorly lit. Carpet in room was not preferable. The buffet breakfast was a nice offering. Area was loud in the evening. Bed was acceptable although not lux. Location was good.

The hotel was lovely! Excellent service from staff, a great location, and one of the best hotel breakfast's I've ever had! It's worth noting that they don't serve lunch or dinner here, but there are so many restaurants around the hotel to visit. Rooms were very clean, well-equipped, and a great size. Absolutely would recommend!!

Our favourite hotel of the 3 we stayed in on our recent trip to Belgium. On a really nice street close to the centre but away from any crowds and conveniently placed for walking to/from train station. The communal areas of the hotel are stunning. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - something for all tastes. Hard to fault the place really.

This hotel was stunning, in a quieter part of Bruges, however it's all pretty tame, which we loved. The room was a King and a Twin and was actually very spacious, which was great for a European hotel room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The interior decor was beautiful too. We loved everything about this hotel and will stay here again next time in Bruges! Thank you Duke's Academie!!

We loved our stay here, the hotel is beautiful and in a brilliant location. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful and welcoming. Super comfy bed, great shower and absolutely delicious breakfast! Highly recommend for a little break in Brugge.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here - it’s a great hotel. Nice self serve breakfast included in an overall good price. Lots of options to choose from and friendly service. Rooms are clean, warm and a good size. Really comfy bed & pillows. There’s an underground car park 5 mins away. Hotel is situated in a pretty park of the town with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. A 10 min stroll to the main square. I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel located close to Bruges station and the main Square. Lots of cafes etc close by. Staff were very friendly and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The room was big, with a good shower and very comfortable bed. Good value for a high end hotel. Would stay again!

Dukes Academie was a great place to stay for our 3 day trip to Bruges. Excellent location with an easy walk to all main sights and also walkable to the station. Reception staff were very friendly as were the staff at breakfast. Breakfast was extremely good with plenty of choice. Spacious room with lovely walk in shower and separate bath. Would highly recommend

This was a quick walk from the train station. We were welcomed by the nicest woman. She was excited to tell us all about Bruges. She recommended an excellent restaurant and provided a map of the area. Great directions to our upgraded room and where breakfast would be served. The room was comfortable. The water and coffee were good as was the special Belgium chocolate. Great location and cute hotel.

Modern clean central hotel. Can’t fault the public areas, food, service and location. Would highly recommend. Loved the decor and Xmas decorations. The room was fresh modern - our only small comment is we had a ground floor room right at the back which was noisy and there was a patch of damp in the corner. But the benefits of the hotel far outweighed this. We loved it and would go back!

What a gorgeous hotel. Our stay in Bruges was definitely enhanced by this choice of hotel. The staff are extremely kind and helpful and the hotel is in an incredible location, close to everything, but quiet as well. It's also helpful that the hotel has a lift. It's about a 15 min walk from the train station, but with luggage, it could be difficult due to the cobblestone streets. Taxis are available if need be for about 11 Euros. We booked with breakfast included and it's worth it. Good quality and a variety of breakfast items to choose from. Overall, it was very comfortable, clean and luxurious and I cannot imagine staying elsewhere in Bruges should I make it out there again.

First off the good. Location is edge of south side old town. It's about 20mins walk across old town. Breakfast is good, huge variety. Room is quite large. And the bad. The heater at the window couldn't work consistently. The staff came to check. Window closed properly and it works. 15mins later, nothing was touched, it stopped working again. So I didn't get to enjoy the room at the temperature I prefer. Also I went out about 9am. Came back at 2pm. Room wasnt cleaned. Am very disappointed, perhaps I should have asked the reception to pass the instructions to housekeeping. But then again I rarely need to do that for all the hotels I've stayed in. Let alone a 4 star hotel. The shower was pressure is frustratingly small. (2nd floor room 11xx).
