Having a car is recommended, as everything may be a bit too far for walking. The neighborhood of the hotel felt safe. There is a very small beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas but you can't go in the water because it's very rocky. We had the standard king room with no view and it was right next to restaurant kitchen (room 104)- not ideal for light sleepers or those that want a more "luxurious feel", you may hear restaurant crew talking and moving furniture outside the room late night. Otherwise room was clean and had essentials. Staff were nice overall. Food at the restaurant at the hotel was okay but a bit pricey.
