It was a great stay and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely make the short drive into town to take a look at the Gem & Mineral museum, that was a great activity while it was raining.

I have stayed in many historic spas/resorts and this one left me disappointed. Staff appeared brand new, were unable to answer basic questions and had no idea how to get the answers. Basic items were non-existent like a directory of services in the room, items to go with the coffee like sugar or stirrers, lighting in the living room area to even read by. They were pushing boat rides but no one could tell us where the boat would go once we paid $30 per person??? I’m hoping it was just the start of the season and they get their act together for the sake of future guests.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. However I was there towards the end of the ski season and there was noticeably less staff around to help with bags and ski equipment when checking in, but I guess this is expected when visiting outside of peak season

This is a budget friendly establishment. It appears the facility is making improvements....new door entry locks were being installed. The furnishings are low end and the bed was way too soft for our comfort. The restaurant advertised is not open but they do serve their breakfasts there. Breakfast was pretty decent. Location was easy commute.
