"We stayed for one night in early June, the hotel was bright, fresh and modern. The location is right in the centre of Sandakan and a useful base to explore. We had an evening meal at the restaurant which was better than average and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok, they could have more on offer ..."

"ok... trying to give a balanced view here. The location was superb, and we walked to Sepilok Orangutan sanctuary twice, easily, in 5 mins, and had amazing experiences. Wonderful memories. loved that. The hotel itself. Once upon a time it was probably very flash. nowadays it needs some love and maintenance. ..."
