"My wife and I came up the Watauga to relax and for me to trout fish. The house was extremely comfortable and well furnished. The mornings on the front porch looking at the river and drinking coffee were only rivaled by peaceful afternoons on the back porch looking at the mountains. The king size master bed was comfortable and we slept well. The river was loaded with hard fighting trout. We had a great time"

"Perfect size for us. My husband and adult son were there visiting family in the area. House was very well stocked and clean. Private dock is a good size. Fishing could have been better, wish we had had a boat. We saw fish jumping in deeper water. Lots of steps up to the house so you will get your exercise! Owner provided us with firewood for the fire pit (Thank you!!). House / beds very comfortable. I would stay again."

"The cabin was accurate to the description. It had a well-equipped kitchen with nice appliances. It was very clean, with comfortable beds, life jackets, ping pong table, gas grill, and firepit. The dock area was great. We brought a boat and used the dock area quite a bit. The lake was beautiful. It was a wonderful place to stay. Jeremy was helpful with everything we needed before and during the trip."
