"Everything about this home is immaculate. It's probably the cleanest and well stocked rentals we've ever stayed in. The home seems brand new or newly renovated because everything was sparkling! There was not a speck of dust anywhere. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with everything you could need. The heating worked great during the cold nights and all the appliances where top notch. Drawers were labeled which took the guesswork out of searching for utensils, very thoughtful. The only bummer was the next door neighbor's dog. As the previous reviewer mentioned it's not the fault of these property owner because it's totally out of their control but it was still the most unpleasant part of the stay. I don't think the neighbors ever brought the dog inside and the temperatures were lowwww... Yes the dog started barking at about 6am and kept barking. Around midnight I put earplugs in thankfully couldn't hear anything while I slept. Mainly I just felt bad for the poor thing. The master bedroom is right next to the neighbors yard so unfortunately it's where we heard the barking the loudest. Overall it's an amazing rental and the owners have really put thought an effort into making it a comfortable and easy place to stay. I would recommend anyone stay here, from a few couples to a large family, it's simply perfect."

"This house was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family to stay in for the Christmas holiday. The property was exactly as pictured- very spacious and incredibly clean. We appreciated that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom along with a common powder room. The kitchen was also spacious, and had what we needed to cook several family meals. My parents (grandparents) slept in the casita, which allowed them more quiet and privacy away from the grandchildren. Because of our sightseeing, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor space as much as we would have liked, but we did have one lovely afternoon dip in the hot tub. The property is well- located, about a 15 minute drive from the Joshua Tree west entrance. The home is very close to the Hi-View Trailhead, and a few of us got up early one morning to enjoy the sunrise. Our hosts/points of contact Jeska and Christa were top notch- incredibly helpful and communicative. Our stay was 10/10- we look back very fondly on our Ishan/Joshua Tree stay. We hope to return one day!"

"I was rather surprised by this place! The location was perfect because it sat towards the edge of a neighborhood with vast desert on the one side. Normally, Yucca is a little too busy for me, but I felt isolated enough to fully disconnect from everything (like how I normally feel up the road in Joshua Tree). The house itself was beautifully furnished. TBH, I thought it was going to be a little corny, but it was tasteful and neutral enough to not be distracting. Didn't know I needed that! It was kind of perfect! Never felt cramped like all the other properties in the area. Everyone had ample space to sleep and move around. The backyard was extremely spacious and the pool was perfectly heated even in the cool weather that we encountered (it was as low as 70ish during the day). Overall, I would definitely stay there again and recommend to everybody else!"

"We loved the house! Five bedrooms and three bathrooms! The infinity pool has a lovely view facing the sunset. The jacuzzi was hot and the grill worked perfectly! We even used the outdoor fire pit during our visit! Would highly recommend!"

"The Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, and is generously stocked with everything a family needs to have a relaxing and luxurious vacation. The house is well-thought through, with some wonderful architectural surprises. The outdoors seating, eating, and spa-pool areas are fantastic, and we spent each evening outside as a result. The kitchen is fantastic and well-stocked for making meals. The bedrooms are clean and comfy - with the master suite being very spacious. The Lodge is within easy walking distance of Black Rock Canyon hikes, and the scenery from the driveway is breathtaking!"
